Rotogravure 

Generations of artisans have used rotogravure printing to produce intricate, tactile surface treatments.

The rotogravure (or “gravure”) process involves a series of inked cylinders that transfer the design to the substrate, which is then embossed with a texture. The result is a beautiful, durable surface for commercial projects.

When you work with Versa, you can easily modify the design and colors to your specification—and even choose from technically advanced substrates to meet your project requirements.

Digital Printing

Digital printing offers virtually limitless creative possibilities and practical benefits.

The process starts with graphic art designed by a team that knows wallcovering inside and out—experts who understand scale, application, and how to make a surface sing. Choose from the industry’s largest selection of substrates and sustainable formulations that meet the highest standards for commercial interiors.

The ink is applied by a printhead traveling just microns above the material, laying down vivid color with precision. Next, high-intensity UV lights cure the print in milliseconds. The result? High-fashion wallcovering that’s made to perform and impossible to imitate.

Strike-offs

To minimize lead time and tooling costs, Versa creates high-fidelity prototypes called “strike-offs” that help you visualize and refine your design prior to production.

For rotogravure projects, these prototypes may include CAD images, renderings, or screen prints using hand-mixed inks that closely represent the finished product.

For digital designs, you'll receive a full-scale sample and a panel diagram of the entire layout.
